Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania — Quality Collision Group, an enterprise comprising multiple OEM-certified collision repair centers and supported by private equity, revealed today that it had expanded its organization with two additional collision repair centers: Body Shop by Gene Cochetti in Salinas, California, and an additional Brandywine Coach Works location in Leesport, Pennsylvania.
Quality Collision Group (QCG) strategic focus is centered on building the nation’s biggest, most trusted OEM-certified collision repair organization through an acquisition strategy that maintains the high standards and quality of service at the repair facilities it acquires.
The Cochetti family owned and operated Body Shop by Gene Cochetti for more than 45 years, maintaining its steadfast presence in the exact location. Since 1990, Gene and his son, Chris Cochetti, jointly oversaw the day-to-day operations of their OEM-certified collision repair shop. All Cochetti repair technicians hold I-Car certification, while paint technicians boast P.P.G. training and certification.
“The seamless integration of Cochetti reflects our shared values and commitment to excellence,” says Jeff Burton, VP of Strategic Operations at QCG. “The Cochetti business’ rich heritage will remain, emphasizing unwavering dedication to exceptional auto body repairs and customer service. We recognize the Cochetti teams' mutual focus on exceptional quality and customer service.”
The second most recent acquisition by Quality Collision Group is another Brandywine Coach Works collision repair facility. Located inside the Garnet Volkswagen of Reading dealership, the full-service body shop recently transitioned from a dealer-operated repair center to one helmed by Brandywine Coach Works.
Mario Sano, VP of Operations for QCG and legacy owner of Brandywine Coach Works commented, “Given the opportunity to expand Brandywine’s footprint and partner with the Garnet network of dealerships presented us with a fantastic opportunity. Brandywine’s tradition of phenomenal customer service and precision OEM-certified repairs are already evident at the new location.”
The body shop in Leesport, approximately two hours northwest of Philadelphia, is the seventh Brandywine Coach Works collision repair center.
